Pianist
Born in Vienna, pianist Julia Maria Sliwa has won prizes at national and international competitions. She won first prize at the Valsesia Musica International Competition, second prize at the International Chopin Competition in Slovenia and was a finalist at the International Chopin Competition in Budapest.
She regularly performs as a soloist and chamber musician on modern and historical instruments in Austria and Europe and is a co-founder of the Fortepiano Society Vienna.
